We accept the scriptures as our only authority in matters of faith and practice. We believe the scriptures of the Old and New Testament as being verbally inspired by God, inerrant, infallible in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority.
II. THE TRINITY
God eternally exists in one essence, yet co-equal and co-eternal persons, the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
III. JESUS CHRIST
The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice. He is God incarnate, fully God and fully man. One Person in two natures. Jesus was conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, was crucified, arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father as our High Priest.
IV. THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. He is the life of the believer and He empowers the preaching and teaching of the Gospel.
V. FALL OF MANKIND
Mankind was created in the image of God, sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but spiritual death, which is separation from God, and that human beings are born with a sinful nature.
VI. THE WORK OF CHRIST
The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice. His death and blood shed on the cross is the perfect, all-sufficient sacrifice for our sins. His atoning death and victorious resurrection constitute the only ground for salvation.
All who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again by the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God and heirs of eternal life.
God has appointed a day, where He will judge the world by Jesus Christ. We believe that God will raise the dead bodily and judge the world, assigning the unbeliever to condemnation and eternal conscious punishment and the believer to eternal blessedness and joy with the Lord in the new heaven and the new earth, to the praise of Him.
